The General Synod of\u00a0the Anglican Church of Australia is similar to\u00a0national parliament of Australia except for\u00a0its quite limited\u00a0authorities and resources. It is a very loose federation\u00a0of the 23 dioceses,\u00a0meets every 3 years and started yesterday in Melbourne. Tasmania has seven representatives and we are all here happy and smiling.<\/p>\n
