{"id":2712,"date":"2010-01-31T11:51:44","date_gmt":"2010-01-31T00:51:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/imaginarydiocese.org\/bishopjohn\/?p=2712"},"modified":"2010-01-31T18:54:27","modified_gmt":"2010-01-31T07:54:27","slug":"diversity-of-styles-for-worship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/imaginarydiocese.org\/bishopjohn\/2010\/01\/31\/diversity-of-styles-for-worship\/","title":{"rendered":"Diversity of styles for worship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>My letter to the Editor of the <em>Sunday Tasmanian<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>31<sup>st<\/sup> January 2010 (ST credit for header)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0I am writing to provide balance to the one-sided story published on the front page last Sunday (\u201c Bishop\u2019s \u2018happy clappers\u2019 anger old guard\u201d,<em>\u00a0Sunday Tasmanian, <\/em>January 24).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0The story highlighted unsubstantiated claims from a small minority without testing those claims.\u00a0 The article also promoted untrue and unhealthy stereotypes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0In Hobart you can find a number of traditional and contemporary Anglican church services every Sunday. You won\u2019t find any \u201cfrothing at the mouth\u201d.
