{"id":14761,"date":"2014-03-20T16:10:15","date_gmt":"2014-03-20T05:10:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/imaginarydiocese.org\/bishopjohn\/?p=14761"},"modified":"2014-03-20T18:53:57","modified_gmt":"2014-03-20T07:53:57","slug":"humanity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/imaginarydiocese.org\/bishopjohn\/2014\/03\/20\/humanity\/","title":{"rendered":"Humanity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #808080\"><b><strong>I recently read this <em>letter to the editor<\/em> In the Mercury newspaper.\u00a0 It may convey how many of us felt as we farewelled Reza Barati at his memorial service recently.<\/strong><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080\">\u201cI went to a memorial service at St David\u2019s Cathedral for a young man I didn\u2019t know. Reza Barati died recently on Manus Island.\u00a0 The service was hosted by the Anglican Church and the local Kelisa Christian congregation.\u00a0 It was sad but not without laughter and hope.\u00a0 Among the prayers was one for Immigration and Border Protection Minister Scott Morrison and Michaelia Cash, Assistant Minister.During an inspiring service I learned a bit about a young man who didn\u2019t get the chance to live his potential.\u00a0 I learned where he came from and was introduced to his family in Iran.\u00a0 Reza loved the gym, was helpful and courteous.\u00a0 He liked Facebook and to read.
