Rediscovered among my ‘notes’ of 2002: from picturesque Stanley in North West Tasmania, a church organist’s prayer –<\/p>\n

Even before\u2026..<\/strong><\/p>\n

Even before I meet the need<\/address>\n
Awaiting me today<\/address>\n
His eyes the hidden story reads<\/address>\n
And He prepares my way<\/address>\n
And \u2018ere I tread the path unknown<\/address>\n
Already He is there<\/address>\n
To take my hand within His own<\/address>\n
And guide with tender care<\/address>\n

This note was\u00a0taped on the organ at St. Paul\u2019s Anglican Church Stanley by the organist as a reminder and encouragement to herself of God’s purposeful loving presence.<\/p>\n

The organist said the prayer before each Worship Service and had found God\u2019s help over many years of playing the church organ.<\/p>\n

It was also a wonderful encouragement to me! I had noticed the piece of paper attached to the organ as we were talking prior to the Service and had asked her what it said and why it was attached to the organ. What a rich reward for a little curiosity! (Mrs. Meg Elridge is still the organist today and is over 90 years old. She still uses this prayer.)<\/p>\n
